Day-by-day itinerary
Day 01 — Paro Valley Arrival & Temple of the Great Blessing Arrive in Paro and go straight to Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility and the Great Blessing, where the King of Bhutan once prayed for an heir. Evening prayer and a walk through the fields of the valley.
Day 02 — The Tiger's Nest Pilgrimage Dawn departure for the Taktsang trail. Two hours of forest path, prayer flags at every bend, and the monastery appearing across the void. A full morning with the monastery, then a descent past the waterfall and lunch in the valley.
Day 03 — Khansar Gompa & Prayer Flags The quieter pilgrimage of the valley: a walk to Khansar Gompa across the cantilevered prayer-flag bridge, where the hanging cloths make a sound like weather. Afternoon tea with a farming family who will explain what the flags are for.
Day 04 — Rest Day & Departure A slow morning in Paro town before the transfer to the airport, with a blessing arranged for the journey home.
